Head Coach Steve Anthony leads the 2010 Mustang Track and Field program. Competing in the ultra difficult district 10-4A, the Ponies look to build on last year's success.
Returning Pearce stars include Meagan Siebert, a senior distance specialist who was the Ponies' leading female point getter the last two years; Casey Lane, a junior hurdler who qualifed for regional in the 300 meter race; Corey Coleman, a sophomore sprinter and high jumper who also was a regional finalist; and a bevy of talented quarter milers.
Last year's freshman class provided a talented group who did well at the junior varsity and varsity levels. This year's freshman are reportedly even better. How far there young legs and arms can take them will unfold over an exciting season.
