The Wildcat Wrangler Country Western Dance Team was established in the Fall of 1992 by Katha Black, the first director, and Mark Pace, a Lake Highlands High School football coach and former Texas A&M Aggie Wrangler. Mark taught the choreography of spins, turns and acrobatic stunts while Katha, a degreed fine art dance specialist, taught the dancing.
